Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Manager, Application Security based in Poland for a fully remote technology environment. Lead the application security function, blending hands-on practice with leadership, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will establish security standards, strengthen vulnerability management, and embed secure development across engineering teams, while guiding IT and compliance professionals and representing security to executives and customers.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of security experience with hands-on application security.
• Proven track record maturing an application security program.
• Strong knowledge of secure software design and OWASP principles.
• Ability to read application code and collaborate on remediation.
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted security tools and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management and remediation.
• Embed security-by-default across the SDLC with secure standards and CI/CD integration.
• Lead security reviews, triage vulnerabilities, and scale the program with engineers.
• Design an AI-first security strategy and evaluate AI-assisted code analysis and testing.
• Oversee third-party security assessments and ensure compliance with standards.
• Represent security to leadership, customers, and auditors; communicate risk and plans clearly.
