Job summary

emagine is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring stability and security while automating processes. The role is 100% remote with a 12-month contract plus prolongations and potential for extension.

You will join a team of 5 DevOps engineers and work on modern cloud-native workloads alongside legacy infrastructure. Responsibilities include owning AWS infrastructure, moving to IaC, improving observability, and implementing scalable, secure

Qualifications

Several years of experience operating business-critical AWS environments.
Hands-on AWS cloud architecture maintenance and improvement (not just an Architect).
Experience with EKS / Kubernetes / Docker / containers.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code and IaC migrations.
CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and/or Octopus Deploy.
Bash and Python scripting.
Monitoring/observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix.
AWS networking (VPCs, routing, load balancing, DNS).
Cloud and infrastructure security including IAM and least-privilege policies.
Backup, disaster recovery, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

Own AWS infrastructure and improve architecture.
Automate manual processes and move infra to IaC.
Improve stability, security, observability across hybrid infrastructure.
Standardize, document, and automate existing infrastructure; migrate resources to IaC.
Hands-on work across AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Challenge existing solutions and propose better approaches for cloud architecture and automation.
