Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Poland seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join their FCU Technology Team. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms, develop ETL solutions using Databricks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will ensure data quality while mentoring junior engineers. This role primarily offers a hybrid work model with a wide range of professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar).
• Commercial experience in data engineering or database development.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake technologies.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and experience with Python for data processing.
• Understanding of data quality and data governance concepts.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and platforms.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.
• Implement data quality and validation mechanisms.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Support and mentor junior data engineers.
