E Edge Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced PHP Developer for remote work. The candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress, Laravel, MySQL, and REST APIs, along with strong knowledge of OOP and third-party integrations.

The role involves building and maintaining PHP-based web applications, WordPress sites, custom plugins/themes, and API integrations, with exposure to AI-assisted coding tools being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PHP development with WordPress, Laravel, and WooCommerce.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, maintain, and support PHP-based web applications.
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and WooCommerce functionality.
• Develop and maintain Laravel, Core PHP, MySQL, and MVC-based applications.
• Write clean, reusable, secure OOP PHP code.
• Work with WordPress hooks, REST APIs, AJAX, and custom functionality.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Integrate Shopify, BigCommerce, Google APIs, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, etc.
• Work with MySQL databases including design, queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Develop custom eCommerce websites, CMS platforms, web portals, and business apps.
• Use Git/GitHub for source control.
• Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve application, database, API, and integration issues.
• Optimize for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with Linux/Apache hosting environments and assist with deployment.
• Follow coding standards and best practices.
