Job summary

The successful candidate will contribute to a high-quality, student-centered MSW program that prepares ethical, reflective, and competent social work practitioners aligned with CSWE competencies. This role supports online, hybrid, or on-ground formats as needed.

The position requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, at least two years of post-MSW practice, strong teaching and communication skills, and the ability to teach online. A doctoral degree in social work is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
• Minimum of two years post-MSW professional practice experience.
• Commitment to social work values, ethics, and social justice.
• Ability to teach effectively in online learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level MSW courses (9 courses per academic year).
• Deliver instruction aligned with CSWE EPAS competencies.
• Use inclusive, evidence-informed instructional strategies.
• Integrate theory, research, policy, and practice across micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
• Assess student learning with assignments, rubrics, and grading standards.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain records.
• Teach online, hybrid, or on-ground formats as needed.
• Participate in MSW program meetings, curriculum development, and accreditation-related activities.
• Advise, mentor, and support students; engage in faculty governance and service.
