Job summary

Your Jared is seeking a Junior Python Developer to join a long-term Digital Products project. You will help develop and maintain a scalable, multi-site web platform, implement new features and integrations, and build API endpoints with Django REST Framework.

The role values clean code, code reviews, and tests. You will work in a Scrum team of about ten, using PostgreSQL, SQL, Git, and Docker to deliver reliable services in a remote Poland setup (or hybrid office).

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Python and OOP.
• Knowledge of Django and Django REST Framework (DRF) proven through projects.
• Relational database understanding and practical SQL skills.
• Proficiency with Git (branching, Pull Requests).
• Basic understanding of containerization tools (Docker).
• Understanding of HTTP and web application architecture.
• Detail-oriented approach, willingness to learn, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and maintenance of a scalable CMS multi-site web platform.
• Implement new features/modules such as calculators, charts, contest mechanisms, and integrations via REST/SOAP.
• Create and extend API endpoints with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Design data models, perform migrations, and write SQL queries for relational databases.
• Work in a Scrum process within an ~10-person cross-functional team.
• Maintain code quality through Code Review and test development.
