Job summary

Pentoz is hiring an Ionic Developer to build high-performance hybrid mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Web using Ionic Framework and TypeScript. You will deliver native-like experiences from a single codebase and work across staffing, hotel management, and fintech use cases.

This remote role requires 2–5+ years of experience, production deployments, and a mobile-first mindset. You will collaborate with designers, QA, backend developers, and product managers in a fast-moving, remote startup

Qualifications

2–5+ years of experience building mobile apps using Ionic Framework.
Experience deploying apps to production and understanding app store requirements.
Mobile-first design, responsive layouts, and device compatibility.
Remote, startup-like culture experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop hybrid mobile apps using Ionic 5/6, Capacitor/Cordova, Angular/React, and TypeScript.
Ensure UI/UX consistency across iOS and Android with a single codebase.
Work with REST APIs, Firebase, SQLite, push notifications, camera, and location features.
Optimize performance for fast, memory-efficient apps with smooth animations.
Build, test, and deploy apps using Appflow, Xcode, Android Studio, and store workflows.
Collaborate with designers, QA, backend developers, and product managers in an agile environment.
