Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You will build and maintain data pipelines, implement data orchestration with Airflow, and create curated data products for analytics and business reporting across Poland.

The role offers remote, hybrid, or office options in multiple Polish cities, reflecting a flexible work environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering, strong GCP/BigQuery expertise, Python and SQL proficiency, Airflow experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for data orchestration.
• Familiarity with Power BI and best practices in data visualization.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility.
• Implementing and managing data orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Creating curated data products and semantic data layers for analytics and reporting.
• Supporting reporting and analytics initiatives, including Power BI and other BI tools.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through testing and validation processes.
• Documenting processes and workflows to maintain clarity and consistency in data operations.
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.
