Job summary

COWI in Poland seeks a Hydraulic Engineer with wastewater treatment design experience to join our team across Wroclaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Bielsko-Biala, or Warszawa, with a hybrid office/home setup. You will contribute to UK AMP8 projects and other international assignments, delivering hydraulic and pipeline designs in collaboration with a multinational team.

The role covers feasibility through detailed design, regular design reviews, and QA adherence.

Qualifications

Experience in a design environment working on wastewater treatment projects in the UK, ideally, or internationally.
Knowledge and experience of hydraulic design for wastewater treatment plants and pipelines.
Experience using industry standard software such as HADES and Infoworks.
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse multi-disciplinary team.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidiscipline team of engineers and technicians.
Work on projects from feasibility to detailed design.
Coordinate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Attend regular design meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
