Job summary

Pentoz is hiring a creative and efficient Gideros Developer to build 2D games, learning apps, and simulation tools for mobile and desktop platforms. You will write clean Lua-based code to deliver fast, scalable experiences across devices.

This fully remote role offers an opportunity to work across education and simulation projects, collaborating with product, design, and QA teams in an agile workflow.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience with Gideros or similar Lua-based engines.
• Strong command of Lua, event-driven programming, and scene management.
• Familiarity with mobile app optimization, asset pipelines, and cross-platform deployment.
• Bonus: Experience with plugins, native extensions, or Gideros' real-time testing features.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile apps and 2D games using Gideros Studio (Lua).
• Deploy and optimize builds for Android, iOS, Windows, and HTML5.
• Create responsive UI, animations, and gameplay interactions.
• Integrate visual/audio assets and manage performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams in an agile workflow.
