Job summary

Jobsoid Inc. seeks an English Language Arts (ELA) and Math tutor to teach US students online in a small-group setting. The role offers ₱250/hour for delivered classes and ₱125/hour for cancelled sessions, with a regular roster and weekly coaching.

The position is part-time, Monday–Friday mornings (Philippine Time), with remote work from home. A teaching license is preferred and you must meet equipment and connectivity requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with original diploma.
• 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certification.
• At least two years of online teaching experience with children.
• Familiarity with US Common Core ELA and/or Math standards is an advantage.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Clear, confident spoken English.
• NBI clearance or proof of application.
• Reliable equipment, wired internet, backup connection, and four-hour power backup.

Responsibilities

• Teach Reading, Writing, and/or Math online to small groups of US PreK–Grade 5 students using a structured curriculum based on the gradual-release model.
• Deliver classes and provide regular coaching to students.
• Maintain a regular student roster and follow schedule.
• Adhere to equipment and connectivity requirements to support remote teaching.
