Job summary

Alchemy Cloud Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE to own and modernize an established cloud platform. You will expand Terraform coverage, migrate resources to code, and maintain CloudFormation infrastructure while improving reliability, automation, security and cost efficiency.

You will manage GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines, handle incidents, and contribute to production resilience in a small, highly capable team. Remote-friendly with hybrid or in-office options across Europe.

Qualifications

• Must have Terraform knowledge with multi-environment and drift diagnosis.
• AWS depth including VPC, IAM, ECS/Fargate, Aurora MySQL, and CloudWatch.
• Experience authoring CloudFormation templates.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Automation with Bash and Python.
• Aurora MySQL sizing, backups and failover basics.
• Incident response discipline and rollback planning.
• Cost-aware engineering and optimization practices.
• AI-assisted engineering with tooling and review processes.
• Clear written English and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Expand and maintain Terraform coverage across environments.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and environment automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production infrastructure; manage on-call incidents.
• Optimize cloud costs through capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Support customer deployments into AWS environments and maintain security documentation.
• Address security vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
• Develop internal tooling for environment management and visibility.
