Lever, Inc. is seeking a Funnel Strategist & Copywriter to own strategy and execution for high-converting content. This fully remote role focuses on research-driven messaging across landing pages, emails, ads, and case studies, with real performance data guiding improvements.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success, communicating clearly and defending your creative and strategic choices while growing with mentorship and broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience writing conversion-focused copy in agency, in-house, freelance, or similar.
• Excellent English written and spoken; C2 level.
• A portfolio with measurable results from real copywriting work.
• Strong knowledge of marketing funnels and customer awareness levels.
• Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences, from small business owners to enterprise teams.
• Strong customer and market research habits.
• Interest in professional copywriting through books, courses, or practical experience.
• Ability to explain and defend creative or strategic ideas clearly.
• Collaborative, low-ego team player who welcomes feedback.
• Analytical mindset and using performance data to improve marketing outcomes.
• Comfortable in fast-moving environments with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Genuine enthusiasm for writing and linking creative work to commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Research ideal customer profiles, competitor positioning, reviews, and market messaging.
• Develop full-funnel strategies covering offers, landing pages, sales assets, email sequences, and touchpoints.
• Write persuasive copy for landing pages, emails, ads, case studies, and sales materials.
• Identify what should be built, why, and how components move prospects along the funnel.
• Review funnel performance, spot drop-off points, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with paid media, creative, sales, and customer success teams for cohesive messaging.
• Contribute new campaign ideas and defend strategic recommendations.
• Leverage insights to refine copy and funnel journeys.
• Present recommendations and remain open to feedback.
