Placements24 is seeking a Remote Blockchain Data Scientist to uncover insights from on-chain and off-chain data and build predictive models. You will work with Python/R, SQL, and ML libraries to analyze market trends, user behavior, and network activity in crypto ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, CS, or Mathematics
• “Minimum 5 years of data science experience with blockchain data analysis”
• “Proficiency in Python or R and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch”
• “Strong SQL skills and experience with databases”
• “Familiarity with blockchain explorers and on-chain data querying”

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from on-chain and off-chain sources
• Develop and implement ML models for anomaly detection, sentiment analysis, and market forecasting
• Analyze blockchain data to identify trends and actionable insights for business strategy
• Design experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate new features or strategies
• Build data pipelines and dashboards to visualize metrics for stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to apply data insights
