Job summary

BJAK is seeking an experienced Android engineer to build the native Android experience for its neobank app. You will focus on clean user flows, fast performance, and reliable mobile features used by real customers.

Ideal candidates ship Android apps with strong Kotlin knowledge, modern Android development practices, and a user-centric approach to UX. This is a remote role for Poland-based candidates, with fast, outcome-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Strong native Android experience with Kotlin.
• Experience shipping apps used by real users.
• Good understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow.
• Strong product sense and care for UX, not just screens and tickets.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, and payments.
• Turn complex financial flows into simple, fast mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers from idea to production.
• Own app quality across performance, crash rate, loading states and release stability.
