Job summary

ABC Fitness seeks an AI Platform Engineer to own end-to-end platform deliverables from problem definition to production launch and ongoing operation. You will design and operate capabilities such as LLM gateways, retrieval systems, agents, and evaluation frameworks, while ensuring security, observability, and scalable adoption across teams.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and SRE to define success, monitor baselines, and implement reusable patterns for multi-tenant,

Qualifications

• Experience building or operating production retrieval systems, agent platforms, AI tooling, or other AI-enabled capabilities."
• Strong software engineering and distributed systems experience within an existing architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own an AI platform deliverable end to end from problem definition through production launch, adoption, and ongoing operation.
• Design, build, and operate platform capabilities such as LLM gateways, retrieval systems, agents, developer tooling, evaluation frameworks, and inline guardrails.
• Define success criteria and measurable outcomes before building, then use production data and baseline metrics to guide future improvements.
• Develop and maintain clean interfaces, migration paths, documentation, and paved paths that make platform adoption simple for engineering teams.
