Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland seeks a railway design engineer to contribute to overhead contact systems, alignment design, and technical drawings. You will prepare layout plans, cross‑sections, and cable routing, coordinating with track, civil, and structural teams to integrate the catenary system within the railway infrastructure.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Railway Engineering is required, with 3–10 years of rail experience. Fluent English is essential.

• 3–10 years of relevant railway experience.
• Proficient in 2D/3D design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of overhead contact systems: alignment design and cable routing.
• Prepare layout plans, cross-sections, and technical drawings for electrification works.
• Coordinate with track, civil and structural teams to integrate catenary systems.
• Create content for maps outlining required build areas for new railway.
