Job summary

Qualifications

• MA in journalism or related degree (journalism specialty acceptable).
• Recent, documented experience in a local or regional radio station.
• Experience in work in radio stations (public or private).
• Experience in teaching in higher education in journalism/radio topics.
• Knowledge of radio production software (DynaMix).
• Knowledge of radio market and trends.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes at undergraduate and graduate levels in journalism and social communication, covering radio market, genres, production, editing, and live broadcasts.
• Conduct workshops and demonstrations for schools in the region.
• Act as year tutor for the Journalism and Social Communication degree program.
• Perform organizational duties and manage teaching load of 360 hours per year.
