Job summary

Brenntag Łódź is seeking a Junior R2R Analyst to join our finance team. You will perform end-to-end Record to Report activities for less complex entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely closing and IFRS compliance in a transitional SSC environment.

In this hybrid role, you will work from Łódź city center with 3 days in the office and collaborate with local finance, SSC departments and other stakeholders while developing through experience in R2R, SAP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Education degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Record to Report / General Ledger accounting.
• Background in a Shared Service Center, outsourcing, or industry environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of core accounting processes.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Perform R2R activities for assigned, less complex entities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Review Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, including inventory accounting.
• Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and confirm balances with counterparties.
• Prepare standard analytical reports.
• Maintain R2R master data for assigned entities.
