Job summary

ABB w Krakowie poszukuje inżyniera R&D - Python Developer in Test, który wesprze zespoły R&D w tworzeniu i testowaniu rozwiązań dla High Power Rectifiers. Rola to interdyscyplinarny zespół i projekty międzynarodowe w modelu pracy hybrydowej.

Główne zadania obejmują tworzenie automatycznych testów w Pythonie dla urządzeń embedded, rozwój frameworków testowych i środowisk CI/CD. Doświadczenie w testowaniu w kontekście embedded jest kluczowe.

Qualifications

• Znajomość Pythona i PyTest.
• Doświadczenie w tworzeniu testowych frameworków dla urządzeń embedded.
• Znajomość GIT oraz protokołów sieciowych TCP/IP, OPC DA/UA, SOAP.
• Znajomość Azure DevOps i Jenkins.
• Podstawowa znajomość MATLAB/Simulink.
• Podstawowa wiedza z elektrotechniki i zainteresowanie Power Electronics.
• Biegła znajomość angielskiego w piśmie i mowie.

Responsibilities

• Tworzenie automatycznych testów w Pythonie dla urządzeń embedded.
• Rozwijanie frameworku testowego.
• Rozwijanie środowisk CI/CD.
• Utrzymanie kodu i dokumentacji.
• Wykonywanie testów na stanowiskach Hardware in the Loop.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity, and innovation are valued.

As an R&D Engineer - Python Developer in Test, you will contribute to the quality of High Power Rectifiers products through testing the solutions, modules, and functions produced by the R&D teams.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Development of automated tests in Python for embedded devices
• Development of test framework
• Development of CI/CD environments
• Code maintenance and documentation
• Execution the tests at the Hardware in the Loop stands

Qualifications For The Role

• Knowledge of Python, PyTest
• Experience in development testing frameworks for embedded devices
• Knowledge of GIT and network protocols - TCP/IP, OPC DA, OPC UA, SOAP
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Interest in Power Electronics
• Very good written and spoken English
