Job summary

Aequor seeks a Quality Engineer to assure products conform to established requirements and standards through audit, inspection, and test activities. The role interfaces with multiple departments, suppliers, and external specialists to implement Client Quality goals.

Principal duties include formulating procedures and standards, developing corrective actions, and analyzing data for gauge and product evaluation, while ensuring suppliers have the information needed to deliver quality products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; CQE preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • CQE certification and medical device (orthopedic) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates procedures, specifications, and standards for Client products and processes.
  • Develops and implements corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Collects and analyzes data for gauge and product evaluation.
  • Identifies critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for new products.
  • Ensures that suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products to our client.
