Job summary

TUI Group is seeking a QA Engineer to join a cross‑functional agile team. The role focuses on designing and executing manual tests across web and mobile platforms, ensuring end‑to‑end quality from concept to release, with emphasis on security and test data quality.

The candidate will collaborate with Product Owners to clarify requirements, define test strategies, and drive quality across the development lifecycle, while communicating in English and German where required.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in manual software testing in agile development environments.
• Ability to design, document, and execute test plans and test cases from requirements.
• Familiarity with testing REST APIs using Postman or Swagger.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and agile delivery principles.
• Experience with cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications.
• Proficient English and German communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to define QA strategies and testing best practices.
• Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality releases.
• Analyze requirements to create clear, testable feature specifications.
• Identify defects and coordinate with developers and product teams for remediation.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and maintain test documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English (and German).
