Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic delivery team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for Front-End and Back-End applications, collaborating with developers, PO's and stakeholders to improve software quality.

You will reduce manual testing by building robust automation, run performance tests with JMeter, manage test data, and drive QA best practices within Agile teams in a Scandinavian-influenced, international

Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic delivery team and help drive quality across modern web and service-based applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, manual testers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to build robust automated testing solutions and continuously improve software quality.

Responsibilities you'll have

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for Front-End and Back-End applications

Work closely with developers and business experts to ensure high-quality software delivery

Reduce manual testing efforts through effective test automation

Execute and maintain performance tests usingJMeter

Prepare, manage, and maintain test data required for testing activities

Monitor, analyze, and document test resultsInvestigate, debug, and report defects

Drive continuous improvements in test automation coverage and quality processes

Contribute to QA best practices across the delivery team

Expected competences and knowledge

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation
• Strong experience in Web/UI Testing, API/REST Testing, Functional Testing and Automated Functional Testing
• Solid programming skills in Java
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Rest-Assured, Postman, Maven and Chrome DevTools
• Strong experience in Performance Testing using JMeter
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence and test management tools (preferably qTest)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Bamboo
• General testing knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level
• Strong communication skills and the ability to drive QA activities within Agile teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in Manual Testing and Mobile Application Testing
• Knowledge of XML, JSON and CSV data formats
• Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and Gherkin
• Good presentation and stakeholder communication skills
