Job summary

Fireup seeks a QA Mobile Engineer to design, implement and oversee automated testing for iOS and Android apps in long-term client projects.

You will convert manual test cases to automated tests, expand coverage, integrate tests in GitHub Actions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and security of healthcare-related software.

The role offers hybrid work in Rybnik, modern equipment, training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in mobile test automation.
• Hands-on with Appium and Katalon.
• Experience with Espresso, UIAutomator2 or XCUITest.
• Familiar with TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with JIRA or Confluence.
• GitHub for version control.
• Backend and API testing with Postman/JMeter/Charles Proxy.
• Strong English communication in an international environment.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Convert manual tests to automated end-to-end tests for iOS and Android.
• Develop strategy to increase automation coverage and reduce manual regression.
• Identify high-value test cases for automation.
• Maintain stable automated test suite and diagnose flaky tests.
• Analyze defects and prepare detailed reports.
• Develop shared automation framework components for new tests.
• Collaborate with product and dev teams to ensure testability of features.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Ensure high quality and security of released apps.
• Share testing best practices with QA and developers.

QA Mobile Engineer

At fireup.pro, as a QA (Mobile Applications), you will design and test systems that have a real impact on how businesses operate, from complex logistics platforms to advanced industry-specific systems, including solutions for the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing testing processes to ensure the highest software quality. Your tasks will include collaborating with project teams, creating and maintaining performance and accessibility tests, and ensuring that products comply with business requirements and healthcare industry standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Converting existing manual test cases into automated end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications
• Developing a strategy to increase automated test coverage and reduce the scope of manual regression testing
• Identifying which test cases offer the greatest value for automation
• Maintaining a stable and reliable automated test suite, analyzing failed tests, and identifying flaky tests
• Analyzing and reporting defects and preparing detailed reports
• Developing shared components of the automation framework to support new test scenarios
• Working with product and development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure the testability of new features
• Integrating and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ensuring the high quality and security of released applications
• Collaborating with other QA Engineers and Developers and sharing testing best practices
• 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, including at least 3 years of experience in mobile test automation
• Hands‑on experience with mobile test automation using Appium and Katalon, as well as knowledge of tools such as Espresso, UIAutomator2, or XCUITest
• Experience with frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA or Confluence
• Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub
• Experience in backend and API testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, Charles Proxy, or similar
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Very good command of English and confidence communicating in an international environment
• Experience using AI tools to improve test automation while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and security
• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

We will additionally appreciate:

• Knowledge of security, privacy, or medical device regulations, such as HIPAA or GDPR
• Certifications such as ISTQB or similar
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database data validation
• Experience working with the SAFe Agile framework
