Job summary

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of professional Quality Assurance experience.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, testing processes and defect management.
• Experience with test automation concepts and scripting in Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; knowledge of web tech and Agile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and implementing detailed test plans along with test scenarios covering functional requirements, edge cases and critical user journeys.
• Performing regression, system integration and user acceptance testing for new features and changes across the platform.
• Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects with clear reproduction steps and environment details.
• Contributing to test automation through frameworks including Selenium and Playwright.
• Interacting with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Maintaining QA documentation and supporting continuous improvements in testing practices, including AI-assisted testing tools.

What the day will look like

As a QA Engineer, you will support the quality and reliability of web-based applications by crafting and driving effective test scenarios. You will detect issues early and cooperate with development teams throughout the delivery process.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Crafting and implementing detailed test plans along with test scenarios covering functional requirements, edge cases and critical user journeys ys.
• Performing regression, system integration and user acceptance testing for new features and changes across the platform.
• Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects, providing developers with clear reproduction steps, evidence and relevant environment details.
• Contributing to test automation through frameworks including Selenium and Playwright, helping improve test coverage and make testing more efficient.
• Interacting directly with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria and identify potential quality risks before implementation.
• Maintaining QA documentation and supporting continuous improvements in testing practices, including the responsible use of AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Around 3 years of professional Quality Assurance experience, including hands-on testing of web applications and experience crafting detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, testing processes and defect management, with experience in regression and system integration testing.
• Experience with test automation concepts and scripting in Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of web technologies and the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile delivery.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Business Analysts and other team members while prioritising multiple priorities.

Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated testing, SQL for data validation, accessibility standards such as WCAG, HR technology or talent assessment platforms would be an advantage.
