Job summary

Graphcore in Poland seeks a software-focused engineer to join the PyTorch team, delivering new features and optimising performance for ML accelerators. You will work in a SCRUM environment, review code, document decisions and collaborate across engineering teams to maintain a high-quality code base.

The role involves deep engagement with PyTorch, potential work on other frameworks, and opportunities to contribute to technical direction while balancing code quality with delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals demonstrated.
• Experience with Python development in production environments.
• Experience in developing performant C++ applications in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and ML kernel development.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new features for the PyTorch/Frameworks stack.
• Maintaining and supporting existing features and tests.
• Optimising the software stack for performance and scalability.
• Coordinating complex tasks with cross-team dependencies.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality.
