Grid Dynamics in Kraków seeks a Senior/Lead AI Software Engineer to design and build an autonomous AI agent acting as a digital software engineer. You will lead a squad, architect multi-agent SDLC workflows, and scale AI components using LangGraph, LangChain, LangSmith, and Claude Code.

Expect collaboration across Java, .NET, and Angular stacks. You will contribute to production-grade Python services, implement robust observability, and craft secure, scalable pipelines with Docker and Bash

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience with production-grade Python applications.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems or multi-agent architectures.
• Proficiency with LangGraph and LangChain for building complex AI workflows.
• Experience with LangSmith (LLMOps) for observability, tracing, debugging and evaluation of AI pipelines.
• Experience with GenAI coding acceleration tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Expertise in prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and dynamic context management.
• Proficiency with Linux, Bash scripting, and Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with Java (Maven/Gradle), .NET, and Angular for cross-environment validation.
• Strong written/verbal English for remote collaboration.

We are seeking a Senior / Lead AI Software Engineer to join a high-impact engineering initiative building a next-generation autonomous AI agent that acts as a digital software engineer for a global leader in digital payments and financial technology. In this role, you will play a pivotal part within a dedicated Grid Dynamics engineering squad, designing and developing a sophisticated multi-agent architecture capable of taking software engineering tasks from requirements to production-ready code end-to-end. As a technical leader on the team, you will build and scale specialized AI components that handle different stages of the software development lifecycle—including requirements understanding, solution planning, code generation, testing execution, and quality validation.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy autonomous agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems that automate complex, end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Develop robust, scalable back-end services and orchestrations using Python, LangGraph, and LangChain to enable multi-agent communication, state management, and task planning.
• Implement observability, evaluation, and tracing frameworks using LangSmith to continuously monitor agent behavior, optimize performance, and ensure output reliability.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques and leverage cutting-edge GenAI development tools (such as Claude Code) to build high-precision code generation and refactoring pipelines.
• Ensure seamless environment execution and sandboxing by managing containerized runtimes using Docker and writing complex Bash/shell scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to evaluate generated code across diverse technology stacks, including Java (Maven/Gradle), .NET, and Angular.
• Adopt an adaptive, problem-solving mindset to address complex technical challenges, navigate ambiguity, and maintain high standards for generated code quality and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with a proven track record of developing production-grade applications in Python.
• Hands‑on experience developing agentic AI systems, multi‑agent architectures, or advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Strong proficiency with LangGraph and LangChain for building complex, stateful AI agent workflows.
• Practical experience using LangSmith (or equivalent LLMOps platforms) for observability, tracing, debugging, and evaluation of LLM pipelines.
• Practical experience utilizing modern GenAI coding acceleration tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in daily software development.
• Expertise in prompt engineering techniques, LLM orchestration, and dynamic context management.
• Solid hands‑on proficiency with Linux environments, Bash/shell scripting, and containerization using Docker.
• Conceptual understanding or basic hands‑on familiarity with diverse software engineering stacks (e.g., Java with Maven/Gradle, .NET, Angular) to validate agent‑generated code across environments.
• Highly adaptive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and excellent written/verbal English communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
