Job summary

Saab Poland in Warsaw seeks a business-minded Project Manager (m/f/d) for a permanent full-time role to lead a complex system integration project across Europe. You will manage a project team of service engineers and technicians, coordinating with the European lead system integrator and supporting onsite activities at multiple sites in Poland.

The ideal candidate has an engineering background with several years of experience in system engineering or technical product management for large-scale

Qualifications

• Academic background in engineering or similar fields.
• Experience in managing complex projects as a system/technical product manager.
• Certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project integrated centrally by the lead system integrator in Europe.
• Coordinate activities of the service engineers and technicians.
• Enable the project team and coordinate with Back-office Manager in Europe on logistics processes at different sites in Poland.
• Follow up activities defined for Service Engineers in cooperation with System Engineer Lead and Customer Support Lead from Europe.
• Support onsite activities at varying sites and assist with testing and documentation.

Your role:

• Managing a project, to be integrated centrally by the lead system integrator in Europe
• Managing activities of the project team of service engineers and technicians
• Enable the project team and coordinate with Back-office Manager in Europe on logistics processes at different sites in Poland
• Follow up activities defined for Service Engineers in cooperation with System Engineer Lead and Customer Support Lead from Europe
• Support onsite activities at varying sites
  • Setting to work and testing of RF-related systems and software-based control and management
  • Coordinate and support training on systems
  • Inspections and documentation with end-users and logistics units at different sites
  • Handover to end-user incl. quality checks technical documentation
• Support global lead integration with applicable documentation
• Support lead integration with local commercial aspects
• Follow up of milestones defined by lead integrator in Europe
• Follow up activities with local suppliers
• Report to Program Manager in Europe

Your profile:

• Academic Degree in electrical engineering, communications technology, computer science or similar
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2 are beneficial but not prerequisite
• Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, as a development engineer or in technical product management in complex projects
