Job description

Our story

Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming — with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.

Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion — the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.

Our core product is BOOSTER, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.

We're a post-IPO startup, growing fast to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.

Position Overview

We run commercial contracts and institutionally funded projects in parallel, with strong technical teams who own the engineering. What we need is someone to own everything around that work — schedule, budget, milestones, and reporting — so our engineers stay focused on building hardware.

We're looking for a Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of project delivery across our portfolio. You'll keep projects on time and on budget, act as the point of contact for customers and funding bodies, and make sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time. You'll report to the Head of Business Operations and work side by side with our technical leads every day.

Your Daily Impact
  • Owning end-to-end execution of commercial and funded projects — planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Tracking project budgets and forecasting cost to completion, flagging overruns before they happen.
  • Managing contracts, change requests, and milestones, and keeping deliverables and reporting on track.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers, partners, and funding agencies on schedule and progress.
  • Planning resource and workforce allocation across projects and resolving conflicts early.
  • Keeping a clear, current view of the whole project portfolio and surfacing risks before they land.
Is This You?
  • 2+ years managing projects, ideally in an engineering, hardware, or technical environment.
  • You've owned real project budgets and schedules — tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience with publicly or institutionally funded projects (ESA, EU, national, or agency programs) is a strong plus.
  • You understand the difference between managing a project and managing engineers — your job is the former.
  • Structured, proactive, and calm under pressure. You run toward problems, not away from them.
  • Fluent English. Comfortable in an international, technical environment.
  • You like keeping complex things simple and visible.
Why work at Liftero?
  • Work on hardware that flies in space
  • Get in early at a fast-growing public company
  • Have a front-row seat — and real influence — in one of the world's biggest technology megatrends
  • Contribute to Liftero's journey to 1,000 propulsion units
  • Real ownership in your domain: you shape what we ship and what happens next
  • Learn fast, grow fast — no prior space experience required, just drive
Benefits
  • Get your share in Liftero's success with performance-based stock options
  • Take care of your health with private healthcare
  • Take care of your body with a Multisport card
  • Grow through courses and a training budget
What Its Like To Work With Us

Working at Liftero is meaningful, fast-paced, and human. We respect your time and your life outside the office — we're not pretending work is your second home. If you're having a tough day, say it. If you're in flow state, we trust you to manage your own time.

The work is demanding, but that's where the growth is — and you'll see the direct impact of what you build. Because we're a startup that moves quickly, every team member has a real voice in what we ship, and a genuine stake in how the company grows.

We run our own project management framework, refined over years of iteration, designed to keep us moving fast while giving everyone real influence over the work.

At the end of the day, you can look up and say: 'the systems I work on are up there, in space.'

You’ll love it here!
