Job summary

Nestlé Purina now seeks an experienced Automation Engineer (m/f) for our Nowa Wieś Wrocławska factory on a temporary 12-18 month contract. You will coordinate subcontractors, verify progress, and implement automation improvements across DCS/PLC systems.

We require a technical engineering degree, 5 years in a manufacturing setting, strong experience with AB controllers and Aveva Wonderware, and proficiency in English and MS Office. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical bachelor in mechanical, process, industrial engineering or similar.
• 5 years of experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or automotive.
• Experience with AB controllers and Aveva Wonderware.
• Experience in commissioning/start-ups and project management.
• Ability to read and correct electrical documentation.
• Upper-intermediate English; proficiency in MS Office.
• Certified electrical qualifications and sanitary compliance are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor work on construction sites and monitor progress.
• Verify subcontractor work against the established schedule and quality guidelines.
• Manage changes on site and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Identify risks and prepare response plans for each risk.
• Support project team with automation technology and I/O checks.
• Provide technical support and report corrective actions to subcontractors.
• Parameterize automation devices and implement improvements and new logic.
• Create or update visualization graphics and electrical documentation.
• Create comprehensive project documentation.

Join our team in the position of:

Automation Engineer (m/f)

in Nestlé Purina factory in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska

(Temporary contract 12-18 months/mission)

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of subcontractor work on the construction site.
• Verification of subcontractor work against the established schedule.
• Verification of the subcontractor's scope of work on the construction site (compliance with guidelines and overall quality).
• Response to changes on the construction site, coordination of various subcontractors' work.
• Identification of risks and preparation of response plans for each risk.
• Support for the project team in the implementation of technology regarding I/O checks and testing of automated sequences.
• Technical support - verification of malfunctioning devices and reporting corrective actions to the appropriate subcontractors.
• Parameterization of automation devices.
• Implementing modifications, improvements, and writing new logic (based on guidelines).
• Implementing modifications, improvements, and creating new visualization graphics (based on guidelines).
• Analysis and implementation of corrections in electrical documentation.
• Creation of project documentation

Our expectations:

• Degree/diploma: engineering or technical bachelor discipline (mechanical, process, industrial engineering or similar)
• 5 years of experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing, consumer goods or automotive industry
• Professional experience with AB controllers.
• Professional experience with Aveva Wonderware.
• Professional experience in commissioning/start-ups.
• Professional experience in project management
• Ability to read, analyze, and correct electrical documentation.
• Work following defined objectives and proactively tracking them
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills
• Analytical skills in problem solving
• Upper-intermediate English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Certified electrical qualifications
