Job summary

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in Warsaw invites applications for a position within the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti Issues (CPRSI). The incumbent will monitor Roma and Sinti human rights concerns, draft reports, and support policy development under the Senior Adviser, contributing to OSCE commitments on inclusion and non-discrimination.

Qualifications

  • Second-level university degree in law, political science, sociology or related fields.
  • A first-level degree with two additional years of relevant experience is accepted in lieu of a second-level degree.
  • Strong understanding of international human rights processes and Roma/Sinti issues.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on Roma and Sinti rights within the OSCE area.
  • Draft analyses, briefing papers, and background materials related to Roma and Sinti issues.
  • Coordinate with ODIHR departments, OSCE institutions, and external partners.
  • Contribute to communications, outreach, and dialogue activities with stakeholders.
  • Plan and implement training and events to strengthen stakeholder capacity.
