You will build data pipelines with Python and PySpark, work with SQL and BigQuery, and support CI/CD and automated deployment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of enterprise-scale data solutions within the banking and financial services sector. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality data integration and processing solutions in a cloud environment while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions using Python and PySpark.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and data exchange mechanisms between enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain solutions leveraging SQL and BigQuery.
• Implement functional and non-functional requirements based on analytical and architectural documentation.
• Ensure software quality through best development practices, testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Work with cloud-native technologies, preferably within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and support automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Developer in enterprise-scale projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and high-quality software development.
• Experience in system integration and data exchange between applications.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and practical experience working with BigQuery.
• Experience designing and developing solutions in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation processes.
• Ability to analyze analytical and architectural documentation and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mandatory professional experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Good understanding of financial data domains, enterprise data environments, and industry-specific requirements.
• Strong communication, teamwork, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
