OPmobility SE in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Program Buyer (Innovations) to drive sourcing for innovation projects within the Exterior & Lighting Business Group. You will manage CAPEX procurement, coordinate with program and technical managers, and ensure supplier readiness for launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English. Hybrid work with two days home office and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience in automotive or complex manufacturing environments preferred.
• Fluent English; German or French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned projects, including CAPEX investments.
• Manage the full purchasing process, from supplier selection, RFQs, and sourcing decisions in cooperation with Commodity Buyers, as well as operational purchasing activities (purchase orders, supplier onboarding etc).
• Negotiate commercial, technical, quality, cost, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Prepare sourcing recommendations and support contract implementation.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Program Managers, Technical Managers, and other stakeholders (commodity buyers, R&D leaders, ...).
• Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support supplier readiness and ensure successful project and production launches.
• Monitor project budgets, purchasing costs, and resource utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to lessons learned activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience in automotive, lighting, aerospace, electronics & electromechanics, or other complex manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
• Experience managing both project-related purchasing and CAPEX procurement is an advantage.
• Agility to source & negotiate diversity of programs requiring toolings, specific machines, electronics, assemble parts, mock-up, engineering expertise etc.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage multiple priorities.
• Good financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, and investment purchasing.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Fluent English is required; German or French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel from time to time internationally.
