Product Lifecycle Manager (M/F/D)

Purpose of the role

The Product Lifecycle Manager plays a key role in driving data-based planning and forecasting for product introductions, phase-outs, and portfolio transitions. Operating at the interface of Demand Planning, Product Management, and Commercial teams, this position ensures robust forecasting accuracy, analytics, and scenario planning for lifecycle decision-making across our global portfolio.

This is a highly cross-functional role suited to candidates who can navigate complexity, challenge assumptions, and bring structure and clarity to product transitions. It is an ideal fit for professionals with a background in forecasting, demand planning, or business analysis looking to shape the future of hearing care solutions.

More about the role

  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate launch business cases into demand forecasts, including modelling demand curves and cannibalization
  • Develop multiple forecast scenarios and document underlying assumptions, risks, and justifications, validate forecasts with regional commercial teams, and support decision-making at global level
  • Partner with Product Management to define portfolio adjustments, phase-out roadmaps, and develop ramp-down forecasts, while collaborating closely with Supply Chain and Service to manage inventory, service continuity, and obsolescence risk
  • Monitor and analyze launch or ramp-down volumes against forecast, and coordinate with Demand and Supply Planning to adjust as needed
  • Support portfolio optimization through data-driven insights on demand trends and profitability.

More About You

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; further education in Lifecycle Management, Forecasting, or Demand Planning is a plus.
  • Several years of experience in product lifecycle management, forecasting, demand planning, or business analysis with a product/portfolio focus.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills, attention to detail, and structured approach to validating and communicating forecasts.
  • Strong project management, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to present and tell stories with data.
  • Team player and relationship builder, skilled in cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP APO, IBP, or other advanced planning, as well as Business Intelligence tools; solid understanding of product lifecycle processes and supply chain dynamics.
