Dotlinkers is seeking a Product Fullstack Engineer to enhance how users discover content and creators on an AI-powered platform. You will work on search, rankings, and personalised feeds, combining backend Go services with frontend React work.

You’ll collaborate with an international, distributed team and own end-to-end features from design to release. The role offers fully remote work with overlapping hours with the US and potential B2B or permanent contracts.

Qualifications

About our client

Our client is building an AI-powered platform where users can create virtual characters, generate realistic images and videos, and share content with others. The product is evolving beyond a content creation tool into a platform where people can discover creators, follow profiles, and explore personalised content. The team works on both the AI-powered creation experience and the features that help users find content relevant to their interests.

The role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to help improve how users discover content and creators across the platform. You’ll work on search, ranking, recommendations, and personalised feeds, helping users find what they’re looking for and discover things they might enjoy. The role combines backend development with some frontend work in React, so you’ll contribute to both the underlying systems and the user-facing experience. You’ll work closely with the engineering team, take ownership of features, and use data and feedback to improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve search functionality, content ranking, and discovery features.
• Develop personalised feeds and recommendation systems that help users discover relevant creators and content.
• Work on features such as tags, creator profiles, and following other users.
• Contribute to backend services as well as frontend functionality built with React.
• Measure and improve the quality of search results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, ship, and iterate on product features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong experience with Go or another statically typed programming language.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and database fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with React in a production environment.
• Understanding of search, ranking, recommendation systems, or personalised feeds.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, and networking.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
• English proficiency at approximately C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with embeddings or vector-based search.
• Familiarity with caching, indexing, and performance optimisation.
• Experience using AI coding agents as part of the development workflow.
• DevOps or networking knowledge.
