Become part of our management team as soon as possible and take on a leading role in the area of Product Costing!
These are your tasks:
- Professional and disciplinary management of approx. 15 employees
- Recruitment and formation of a team for product costing
- Technical contact person for the relocation of product costing processes to Krakow in close coordination with the contact persons of the transferring centers/departments and project management
- Periodic valuation (planned costing) of vehicles and units for series production for the Mercedes Benz Products — Analysis of the results and reconciliation of periodic changes
- Calculation and documentation of transfer prices for internal goods movement
- Collecting legally binding documents from suppliers that confirm the preferential origin, production conditions, and compliance of goods. These declarations are essential for securing customs advantages, such as reduced or zero tariffs, and for meeting legal requirements in international trade
- Development of required process documentation for the transferred processes and establishment of stable knowledge management
- Development of a work organization and establishment of a cooperation model with the downstream management team at Mercedes Benz AG
- Management of the operational area of responsibility based on meaningful key figures and reporting to divisional management
- Supporting the development of work instructions and guidelines
- Implementation, documentation, and continuous development of the internal control system (ICS)
- Active promotion of continuous improvement processes (CIP)
Qualifications
- Initial management experience (technical and disciplinary), ideally in an accounting function
- Technical and disciplinary management experience and extensive overall understanding of business administration through several years of professional experience in accounting as well as routine handling of common data analysis instruments (e.g., target/actual comparison)
- Education: Degree in economics (Uni/FH/BA) or comparable education
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), at best experience in SAP R/3, SAP BW system
- Good knowledge of German as well as good written and spoken English
- Communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility
