Product Advisor – External Situational Awareness in Maritime Domain

Join Kongsberg Discovery and our Seatex division in Trondheim as Product Advisor within Situational Awareness. We are a global leader in marine technology, developing world‑class solutions for positioning, motion measurement, radar and radio systems, satellite payloads, and situational awareness for the ocean space.

At Seatex, you’ll be part of a highly skilled and welcoming team located at Pirsenteret in Trondheim – a hub of innovation and collaboration.

About the role

As a Product Advisor, you will combine technical understanding, business insight, and customer focus to help create solutions that deliver real impact in the maritime industry. You’ll act as the key link between our customers, development teams, and commercial functions – ensuring that our products meet real‑world needs and deliver measurable value.

You will take ownership of one or more projects and product activities, both internally and externally. The role includes some travel for customer visits, field support, and conferences. If you are passionate about quality, collaboration, and operational excellence – we would love to hear from you! We will review applications on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales and marketing with product insight and expertise
