WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies ensuring transportation compliance with safety, environmental, trade, and corporate standards
  • Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities; conduct benchmark studies, cost modeling, and analysis of total cost of ownership
  • Analyze transportation and sourcing data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement and cost optimization
  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for transportation services
  • Prepare tender data input based on business needs, evaluate supplier proposals and scenarios
  • Negotiate contracts to secure the best value and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions
  • Develop and manage relationships with key transportation and logistics providers
  • Conduct regular business reviews, address and support on supplier performance management (e.g., OTIF, cost, service quality)
  • Support logistics planning, route optimization, and network design through supplier engagement for process optimization
  • Explore and implement innovative transportation solutions (e.g., digital freight platforms, green logistics)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics or logistics
  • 3+ years of work experience in Procurement environment with special focus on logistics category
  • Experience with Freight Procurement systems & bidding platforms, MS Office (Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple queries effectivelyExperience in working in international teams in a matrix organization and a multicultural environment
