The Global Delivery Centre provides the critical Source to Contract capability for GSK. Leading the delivery of a high volume of sourcing projects globally, the centre acts as the operational engine of the procurement organization.

The GDC Procurement Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the critical Source to Contract service for one or multiple regions across indirect categories such as Marketing or Professional Services. This role will collaborate with the procurement category and local market teams (LOC) to deliver sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier lifecycle management services to the global procurement organization. This service is a cornerstone of the procurement operating model and will enable the function to industrialize its core operation; driving best practice, providing practical knowledge for development of best in class category strategies, consistency of execution, and continual improvement.

In this role you will:
  • Shape and execute sourcing strategies for business requirements under spend categories in scope of responsibility aligned with the requirements of stakeholders and business partners with cooperation with Global Categories team (execution of end to end sourcing and contracting process).
  • Deliver benefits identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
  • Ensure GSK’s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.
  • Support category leads and country Heads of Procurement in the delivery against effective savings targets other set KPIs agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, through source to contract projects and initiatives, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
  • Cooperation with a wide range of senior leaders across business areas and with suppliers.
  • Resolve escalations, including from senior business stakeholders, timely and tactfully.
  • Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals.

  • Proven track of experience in leading end to end source to contract projects, preferably in complex global corporate organizations.
  • Strong procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, preferably in indirect categories.
  • Full proficiency in English and French (Any other European language is an asset).
  • Project management and stakeholders management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, handling escalations and associated business impact.
  • Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.
