Qualifications

Job description

Reporting to Factory Coordinator Manager, the selected candidate will supervise on site all the stages of our Concrete Tower precast plant operations, including: production, maintenance, purchasing, expenditures, and our local team. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the capital improvement and plant tidiness and general maintenance. Will work closely with the supplier in order to increase the profitability and production in the manufacturing plant under Nordex Standards and Procedures.

  • Management and coordination of the concrete keystone production plan, in order to complete it according with the company´s scheduled plan.
  • Make sure that the supplier or partner look after the production cycle under the standards, deadlines and planning established by the company, according with with a correct operation and cost management.
  • Ensure the supply of raw material for production under Nordex scope, as well as logistics and purchasing areas.
  • Supervise all CT Supplier’s material stocks, so broken stock could be avoided.
  • Coordination of production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Follow up the factory’s production progress, as well as the forecast accomplishment.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports of production , maintenance, cost control, operations; to analyse them and see if business objectives are achieved, if government obligations are met or identify and resolve any issues.
  • Develop a training & development programs a well as best work practices for employees.
  • Manage and support all Nordex local teams so they could succeed in each hof their respective areas.
  • Coordinate all the keystone deliveries to the windfarm location or storage buffer yard.
  • Coordinate actions between Nordex construction department and CT supplier.
  • Put in place the Nordex safety regulations and policies but always complying with environmental guidelines.
  • Find out any area that might need to be improved.

Your profile:

  • Masters degree in Civil engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions ideally within precast industry.
  • Experience in maintenance management programs will be a plus, as well as in certain environmental, legal or Occupational Risk Prevention regulations in Precast production.
  • Know how to deal with certain programs such as: SAP, ERP project development -.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Specialization studies on production planning and management, process analysis, outsourcing, etc.
  • Leadership with the capability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Business vision with abilities to manage huge projects.
  • Analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Resolutive personality used to face the difficulties and current day-to-day problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with teams in which members have a different culture or background.
  • Polish and English is a must.
  • Spanish will be a plus.
