Process Engineer for Structures and Infrastructure Projects Group : Mercedes-Benz Group AG

Description

Mercedes-Benz Vans is a successful manufacturer of premium light commercial vehicles (LCV) for customers and markets worldwide. We have decided to expand our battery-electric as well as combustion version LCV production capacity in Mercedes-Benz in Jawor. Responsibilities

• Work in the area of strategic spatial and infrastructure planning.
• Plan and execute new construction and conversions of production halls and buildings across all architectural and engineering phases as part of a team with other specialized planners:
  • Project management.
  • Prepare tender documentation and obtain bids for the building trade.
  • Perform oversight of contracted suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure targets are met with respect to budget and deadlines.
  • Perform acceptance services and work performed.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering with focus on civil engineering, environmental or electrical engineering
• Several years of experience planning or executing construction projects
• Advanced skills in project management and factory planning
• Basic knowledge of business administration
• Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• IT skills in CAD using FAPLIS and Cplace
• Languages: fluent Polish, English and wherever applicable German
• Negotiation skills and ability to work on a team
• High social and communicative skills for dealing with internal and external partners
