In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of a robust data layer that supports real‑time customer engagement and decisioning. You’ll work on high‑performance data ingestion and retrieval systems, leveraging modern cloud and container technologies. Our stack includes Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, BigQuery, AWS, and GCP. You’ll help shape the future of our data architecture, including initiatives around data lakes and multi‑tenant services.

Who You Are

You are a proactive and collaborative engineer who thrives in dynamic environments. You’re passionate about building resilient systems and continuously improving performance and scalability.

What You’ve Accomplished

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with Java.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Very good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data lake architectures or large‑scale data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native database services such as Google BigQuery.
