Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking passionate developers to craft innovative risk management solutions for Portfolio Managers. You will join a small, agile team of technologists building the next generation of risk and analytics tools.

The role covers end-to-end software lifecycle from requirements through testing, release, and support. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular, with emphasis on high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience (finance preferred).
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET.
• At least 4 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript (last 3 years).
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms and data structures.
• OOD/OOP understanding.
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-threaded/concurrent programming.
• Proven ability to design, build and support scalable, high-availability production apps.
• Strong backend focus with commitment to learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Enhance and extend existing functionality based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
• Develop complex business logic and analytical calculations to support capital usage and scenario modeling workflows.
• Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports, and charts.
• Develop and integrate REST/HTTP-based services and messaging solutions where required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with a small, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software.

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET
• At least 4 years of frontend development experience
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, with hands-on experience within the last 3 years
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP)
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent programming
• Proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-availability applications in production environments
• Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
