Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Principal Architect to join the Core Compute Team in Kraków. You will shape the architecture for ARM64 infrastructure, porting and scaling compute services across platforms, and guiding live migrations and cross-team reviews.

You’ll influence NUMA memory models, cross-socket optimizations, and control plane design for large-scale cloud environments while collaborating with engineering leaders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in cloud platform architecture and control plane design.
• Proven track record designing high-scale IaaS control planes and distributed cloud systems.
• Strong Linux systems programming skills and multi-socket server understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design migration/refactor strategy for core orchestrator services to support ARM64.
• Create NUMA memory allocation models and cross-socket optimization.
• Define blueprints for VM migrations on ARM architectures.
• Design nested virtualization integration and hypervisor execution models.
• Lead architectural reviews with engineering leads across teams.
