Job summary

Global Wind Service (UK) Ltd is seeking a Power BI Specialist to own dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards and data models that drive data-driven decisions across the organisation.

You will translate business requirements into insightful BI solutions, ensuring accuracy and reliability while collaborating with IT and business teams. A strong focus on data governance and modelling will underpin reporting standards and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
• Two to four years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Solid experience with DAX, Power Query, data modelling and semantic models.
• A good understanding of data visualisation best practices.
• Good SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and structured datasets.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards and data models.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into effective reporting solutions, meaningful KPIs and clear data visualisations.
• Connect, transform and integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy, consistency and reliability.
• Build and optimise DAX measures, Power Query transformations, semantic models and report performance.
• Monitor and improve data quality, reporting standards and data governance.
• Analyse business data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights.
• Support stakeholders through documentation, training, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams to define KPIs and identify opportunities for stronger reporting and data-driven decision-making.
