The National Centre for Nuclear Research in Warsaw invites applications for a Postdoc position under the SONATA BIS project. The successful candidate will contribute to the study of the multidimensional structure of hadrons in the saturation regime of high energy collisions, and will perform analytical and numerical calculations.

The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of

Postdoc

Localization:Pasteura 7, 02-093 Warsaw

Description of tasks:

  • The postdoc will contribute to the realization of the research tasks under project "Unveiling the multidimensional structure of hadrons in the saturation regime of high energy collisions" funded by the National Science Center (NCN) under SONATA BIS 13 call.
  • participate in scientific discussions,
  • perform analytical and/or numerical calculations,
  • participate in the preparation of the corresponding research articles and participate in the dissemination of the results by presenting them in international conferences.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • The postdoc is required to have a PhD in theoretical physics or particle physics.
  • Experience in high energy calculations and in gluon saturation is preferred.
  • Experience in numerical calculations is preferred.
