Qualifications

• Specialization in environmental and economic history of Greater Poland and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
• Ability to work with statistical software and GIS is desirable

We are seeking a candidate from the field of history to work on the project entitled "Understanding System Collapse: crisis and recovery in the social-ecological systems of premodern Brandenburg and Greater Poland" (NCN OPUS 26, UMO-2023/51/I/HS3/00151).

The research tasks include investigations into settlement, demography and epidemics, as well as agricultural production and social inequalities in medieval and early modern Greater Poland.

• specialization in environmental and economic history of Greater Poland (optional) and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (required),
• ability to work with statistical software and GIS (optional)
