Job summary

Si Ti in Poland is seeking a Stevedore to load and unload cargo at Tri-City port terminals. This role involves outdoor work, day, evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with 8 or 12 hour blocks.

No prior port experience is required; on-the-job training is provided and opportunities to develop foreman and forklift qualifications. Candidates should be physically fit, able to work as part of a team, and speak Polish.

• Load and unload cargo onto ships
• Move cargo within port terminals and holds

Stevedore (German: Stauer) -a qualified port worker who loads cargo onto aship, places it in holds and unloads it.

WHERE DO S.I.T.I. STAFF WORK?

Stevedores support projects in Tri-City ports, at container, general cargo and bulk terminals.

WHO CAN BECOME ASTAFFMAN?

A stevedore may be aperson who

• She is over 18 years old
• Communicates in Polish
• Due to the nature of the job, she is responsible for herself and the team she works with
• Not afraid of heights and working outdoors
• Physically fit

WORK IN THE PORT

Day, evening and night shifts, Saturday/Sunday and holidays, 8or 12 hours
