Job summary

FlixBus is seeking a skilled Front-end Engineer for a freelance/service agreement based in Warsaw. You will collaborate within an IT & Engineering team to automate and streamline FlixTrain's internal operations, delivering high-quality frontend features in a self-organized, cross-functional setup.

The role focuses on building intuitive interfaces, shaping frontend architecture, and contributing to cross-team quality through tests, code reviews, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript and its ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience writing tests with Jest or Vitest and UI/e2e testing.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and deliver frontend features within a cross-functional team.
• Build intuitive, responsive UIs for internal users.
• Drive frontend architecture decisions and ensure code quality via reviews.
