Job summary

A leading automation company in Województwo pomorskie, Poland is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design and program control systems. Responsibilities include developing software for equipment PLC (SIEMENS S7-1500) and SCADA/HMI systems. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in automation, strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, and proficiency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more experience in automation (PLC and/or SCADA).

Responsibilities

• Designs and programs the Equipment Control & Monitoring system.
• Develops software for the Equipment PLC (SIEMENS S7-1500).
• Develops the SCADA / HMI system.
• Documents the design.
• Participates in testing / product validation.

Job description

• Analyzes the requirements given by team members
• Interacts regularly with team
• Develops the software for the Equipment PLC (SIEMENS S7-1500)
• Develops the SCADA / HMI system
• Documents the design
• Implements updates / upgrades as per Company / customer / Project requirement
• Identify and follow up on issues arising during Project implementation
• Participates in testing / product validation
• Keeps updated about technical evolutions in automation technology
• Evaluates alternative approaches
• Participates in design reviews / risks assessments
• Controls of subcontracted automation engineering compliance
• Provides technical support to other team members
